Furniture can be hard on floors. Felt furniture protectors prevent that.

Chairs in particular are floor killers. Before you sit your keister down on anything, put floor protectors on all the legs. We particularly like these; the open nature of this nylon felt material allows grit particles to work their way in, so they aren’t held against the floor to scratch, and scratch again. And the peel-and-stick adhesive lasts forever.

Replace them periodically as they lose their protective power if they get too thin.
