A mini white pad is just a cut-down 4″ x 6″ version of the thick, white, nylon pads we use under flooring buffers during the removal stage of Rubio Monocoat on large areas.

When you’re doing smaller projects like furniture, cabinets, or fancy picture frames, you need to scale down your application and removal pads as well. This mini white pad (as opposed to our mini red pad) is absorbent and great for the Rubio removal step.

But when you are doing small projects or even just color testing, this white pad can both apply AND remove. Just cut it into smaller pieces and use separate fresh pieces for the application and removal.
